People of Substance with Amanda Noell Stanley

Conversation about leadership development

People of Substance by LemonSkies nearly-weekly chats have been great fun – built-in time for real, deep, funny, irreverent conversations with old friends and those I am just getting to know – like Amanda Noell Stanley.

When we first met, via screen, we clicked and knew right away that we’ll have many conversations in the future. We sat down to discuss Amanda’s tenure as the President and CEO of DePaul Community Resources and realities of the unseen people here in Virginia, what it means to build a positive and resilient culture, and leadership development. We also talk about naps (yes for Amanda, not possible for me), creativity and art (Intaglio for her, watercolor for me), and of course Amanda’s brand new venture The Artisan Leader

People of Substance by LemonSkies are a series of conversations that introduce you to people working within the nonprofit sector. While we touch on trends and best practices, this is first and foremost about getting to know interesting individuals in our space.
